Privacy, in plain language

Reviso handles deeply personal student writing and experiences. We are designing the product around data minimization, visible provenance, and student control. The public workspace currently uses synthetic data only.

What we collect

For an account, we collect your email and authentication data. Existing essay features store the drafts and feedback you choose to submit. The Student Brain production beta remains gated until its consent, retention, export, and deletion controls are complete.

How your content is used

Your content is used to provide the Reviso features you request. We do not sell student content or use it to advertise to you. When an AI-powered feature is enabled, only the relevant content is sent to the configured model provider for that request.

Service providers

Reviso currently uses Supabase for authentication and data storage and Netlify for hosting. Depending on server configuration, an essay analysis may use OpenRouter, OpenAI, Google, or Anthropic. Provider retention and training settings must be reviewed before the Student Brain beta accepts real narrative data.

Student control

AI-extracted facts are proposals, not truth. The gated Student Brain will not accept production data until edit, approval, rejection, export, and deletion operations are documented and tested. Existing essay drafts can be removed through a verified account request while self-service export and deletion are still being built. We will not claim school or FERPA compliance before the necessary operational controls and agreements are in place.

Cookies and billing

We use essential authentication cookies. Billing and recurring subscriptions are not active in the beta.

Questions or deletion requests

Until self-service deletion ships, send a request from the email address associated with your Reviso account by replying to the email through which you received beta access. We verify account ownership before removing stored drafts and feedback. If you do not have a working contact channel, do not submit personal material to this deployment.
